Little did I know my journey to this role would begin on Christmas Eve in 1996, when I experienced what I can only describe as the 'funeral from hell' for my own mother.
That difficult experience ignited a desire in me to learn more about the funeral process and led me down a path that shaped my career.
For over 25 years, I have worked in the Funeral Industry, including roles as a funeral director, arranger, assistant, a manager at local crematorium and finally my role as a Funeral Celebrant for the past 3 years.
This journey has taught me the profound importance of having a compassionate and skilled Celebrant to guide families through some of the most personal and trying moments of their lives.
My passion lies in bringing families and friends together to celebrate and honour life’s special moments. I draw upon a wealth of personal experience—not only from my professional career but also from my roles as a daughter, granddaughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and cousin. These relationships have enriched my understanding of family and the deep connections we share.
I take great pride in my ability to support and guide families through the creation of meaningful ceremonies—whether it’s for a fond farewell or any other significant moments. My goal is to ensure that every service is a heartfelt reflection of the life being honoured, creating a Fond Farewell that is a lasting and cherished memory for all who attend."
