Discuss ceremony in detail - I’ll be working with you to make your ceremony special for you both

• Acquiring a background on clients

• Ceremony requirements / flow

• Option of three (3) straight forward scripts

Preparation of all documentation and script for ceremony

• Draft ceremony script provided for you within four (4) weeks of receiving your deposit payment, for your review, input, edits and approvals

• Final ceremony script to be completed, approved and locked in four (4) weeks prior to ceremony

Liaising and communicating with clients in weeks, months leading up to ceremony ensuring and clarifying agreement for ceremony – fine tuning!

• Has the Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage been signed – MUST be signed before ceremony

• Have parties confirmed music, poetry, readings and / or rituals?

• Have they supplied you with tools for abovementioned?

• Advise they need to supply minimum 14 days before ceremony

• Confirm all arrangements (liaise with clients) (1 month prior to ceremony)

• Date and time ceremony (no changes)

• Any changes to addresses of clients and all professions as stated on NOIM

• Follow up on final payment (if still outstanding – due one (1) month prior to ceremony)

• Follow up on any unsighted documentation (2 weeks prior to ceremony)

Attendance at rehearsal (only for Packages 2 and 3) - if having one and ceremony inclusive of:

• Arriving minimum one (1) hour prior to ceremony to set up, access site for ceremony ensuring all is safe, complete housekeeping and to coordinate, ensuring as best as possible that everything is in order and everyone is comfortable with their role(s) / duties on the day

• Ensure Party 1 / Party 2 has turned up, is calm and not under the influence of alcohol

• Delivering / solemnising ceremony

• Supplying and completing legal documentation for signature by parties and witnesses for your marriage

• There is no travel fee for ceremony locations within a 100kilometre (direct line) radius each way from my residence in Kippa Ring

• If more than 100-kilometre radius from my residence additional costs will incur due to travel time and mileage – to be determined upon request

• One Rehearsal – plan date and time.

• Note: NO Saturday rehearsals - rehearsals are available on Sundays and week day evenings and by prior appointment

• Additional travel fee applies depending on the location (refer to Travel costs above)

• Supply necessary technical and practical equipment for ceremony

• Audio equipment inclusive of speakers, microphones

• iPad with music

• Pens for signing

• Paperweight for keeping documents safe from blowing away

Lodgement of all signed legal documentation with BDM in State / Territory where ceremony took place (within 14 days of ceremony) inclusive of

• Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM)

• Official Certificate of Marriage

• Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage

• Supporting Statutory Declaration (if necessary)

Retainment of legal documentation and records updated

• Certificate of Marriage

• Updated Record of use of Form 15 Marriage Certificate

• Feedback form sent within six (6) weeks of ceremony

Celebrant will be available for other weddings on the day – first booking will be able to choose best time.

Extras:

The Administration Booking fee $250 (or the full Celebrant fee if applicable) will be refunded less $50.00 administration fee, if the booking is cancelled within 1 week of the date of the Administration Booking fee being received by the celebrant. (Cooling Off Period). 

The Administration Booking fee of $250 is non-refundable after the cooling off period ends and will be retained by the celebrant if the wedding ceremony is cancelled by the above-mentioned clients.             

The full Celebrant Fee is non-refundable if the ceremony is cancelled by the abovementioned clients within 2 weeks of the scheduled date of the ceremony.

The full celebrant fee is refundable if the celebrant fails to arrive and deliver the ceremony without a valid reason.
